Bulldog Innovative Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Total Security Solutions, is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as an CNC Programmer.
This is a full-time position based in our Fowlerville, MI headquarters and reports to the Plant Manager.
As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine and nesting materials.
Additionally, you will work with Solidworks and CAD to create flats and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Create flats and bends in Solidworks from 2D Drawings, Prints or 3D files and Assemblies Create fabrication and forming prints Nest material on Trumpf laser using TruTops Boost Software Nest potential projects on Trumpf laser to understand runtime cost in order to assist sales team and assist in estimating CNC milling Program for Mazak 4 Axis CNC, 3 axis mills using Mastercam software Create work orders using All Orders software and assist in purchasing material for work Competencies:
Must have Solidworks experience with understanding of CAD 2D Sheet metal fabrication and forming experience Experience nesting sheet metal, TruTops Boost Software experience preferred (Trumpf Laser nesting software) CNC machining/programming experience, MasterCAM Software experience preferred Basic math skills and ability to read measurements Excellent interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills Detail-oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems Required
